CAZALYS COMMUNITY FUND WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Cazalys has again presented $50,000 worth of community grants to worthy recipients, who are making a difference to improve the lives of people in Far North Queensland. Sixteen groups and four individual applicants shared in the funding which was announced at the club last night.
"Cazalys is a name that's synonymous with the Cairns Community and the Cazalys Community Fund is just another facet of the support we give to our area, Both myself and the Board are committed to being able to maintain such a worthwhile scheme to truly demonstrate we are a leading community supporter and a true community club." General Manager Jason Salecich said.

Cazalys Cairns Community Fund
Each year Cazalys Cairns is proud to donate $50,000 to Community Organisations and worthy individuals via its Community Fund.
The Fund was launched in 2008 and gives grants to people and organisations in the local area who strive make a difference or work hard to achieve sporting, academic or artistic excellence but require funding to reach their goals.
Past beneficiaries of the funds have included the Cerebral Palsy League, the Queensland Guide Dogs Associateion, the Rotary Duck Race, Queensland Tennis, and various individuals who required funding to assist them in their goals.
The Cazalys Cairns Community Fund has a simple objective: to better the lives of people in Far North Queensland. Accordingly, the Fund is offering:
- A maximum of $1,000 to individuals. Grants can be used in their pursuit of sport, academic or performing art. Applicants must be full-time students if applying in the academic field

A maximum of $5,000 to not for profit organistaions.
The awards open each year in the first week of May and close in the second week of July. Application packs including full terms & conditions will be available from the Club or online between these dates.
